Certified TN State Arboretum

In the summer of 2020 the park was awarded Level 1 certification as a TN state arboretum. This unique distinction was made possible with the help of the Nashville Tree Foundation and Edgehill neighbors who collaborated to plant over 50 new trees in the park. Along with the existing trees in the park, these additional trees gave the needed 30+ species of different trees needed to qualify as a certified state arboretum.
